The City of 
Proposed changes include the following amendment to the licensed hours:
- City centre standard licensed      hours to be extended to a terminal hour of 01:00 daily (outwith city      centre will remain 12 midnight);
- 03:00 terminal hour daily      across the city for all later opening premises which do not generally      trade prior to 19:00;
- The exception for hybrid      premises to be removed;
- The exception for early morning      licensed hours to be removed;
- The exception until 06:00 in      relation to casinos should continue to apply only where gambling is the      primary activity; and
- Outdoor areas – possibility of their use beyond 22:00 in limited circumstances where the premises are not located below or in close proximity to residential properties.
Other proposed amendments include:
- An amendment to the      Overprovision Assessment which will cover additional localities including      both Ibrox and Parkhead West and Barrowfield;
- A new limit on the number of      extended hours applications that will generally be granted in each      calendar year;
- A policy on Festive Period      Extensions which may be extended to include other dates, for example Bank      Holiday weekends, at the discretion of the Board; and
- The introduction of a general      requirement for CCTV in new off sales licensed premises and a new      condition relating to the storage of furniture in outdoor licensed areas.
